How do these marketing positions translate into the emailing strategy and newsletters of dating sites? To find out, we studied emails and newsletters from 10 dating sites.
The chosen sites
For this study, we focused on 10 dating sites:
4 general sites: Meetic, Badoo, AdopteunMec and HugAvenue
2 "demanding" sites: AttractiveWorld and EliteRencontre
A site specializing in infidelity: Gleeden
A site specializing in dating by common interests: Geekmemore
A gay dating site: Jmec
A lesbian dating site: LpourL

On each site (apart from those for same-sex dating), we have created a male profile and a female profile.
